Happy Fourth of July!…….Let’s go into the Bathtub!!!!!

Hello friends of Middle earth! Welcome and hang onto your boot straps for another edition of the Hobbit Hollow Construction Blog! Wow. And happy fourth of July to you all! Okay for those of you not living in the good old U S of A this is a big holiday. And what great weather. 150 million hot dogs are consumed on this day I’m told. Remarkable.

But I’ve run into a time problem among other things

Went for some R and R this weekend to the Rhode Island State beaches. Had to get away from it all for a change. I met the Editor, Georgia, and Ethan Saturday morning. The beach was great. It’s always interesting going to the beach.I can’t believe how many different beach umbrellas there are in the world. Last time we were there a seagull pulled this kids sandwich right out of his mouth. Crazy. Anyway it was great. And very relaxing I might add.

So the plan was to have a nice weekend and throw the other front window in on the hobbit House Monday morning. Then relax out at the pool and have a burger. Oh yeah and the pool is finally looking good. Praise God. Only problem with the pool is the Editor, unbeknownst to me, told Terence to raise the temperature of the pool water. I mean the water in the pool was so hot we could actually boil our hot dogs in it. Okay, it wasn’t that hot but I scalded my hand on this 90 degree water. No joke.  It’s no longer a pool but a warm bathtub is what it is. You’re  actually hotter in the water than when your outside in the heat. It’s terrible. Don’t worry though I put the kibosch on that one. We’re going back to the low 80’s. Trust me people.

Okay, so I’m really running out of time now and I’ve still got to take a shower. Just a few pictures this week.
